H1N1 has finally left our house! I will be back to everything this week ....stay tuned for some tutorials on holiday project ideas on the forum.

I have a preview to share... I know I didn't get the sketch in but the book has been done for months and I've been to busy to re-do my release projects. I never type up much and there is so much to tell you this week..... so from the keyboard of Jessica here's what's up......................

In honor of World Cardmaking Day and a super fab Canadian Tradeshow (Creative Stitches and craft show in Edmonton) that we'll be attending, LPS is stepping things up for the month of October and are pleased to announce that FOUR NEW RELEASES will be available on SATURDAY, OCTOBER 3rd!!!

In addition, we have ANOTHER few announcements up our sleeve... It's been 3 months since we invited Ann Kranitz to join us as our Guest Designer. Well, after three months of viewing her STUNNING creations weekly, we just couldn't let her go! We are THRILLED to announce that Ann has accepted a Full-Time position with us as Design Team member for LPS! WELCOME AGAIN ANN! Hooray!

You know what that means? You guessed it! We have another Guest Designer joining us this month and I couldn't be more excited! You may have already seen her playing our weekly challenges and submitting her gorgeous work....a HUGE WELCOME to PAM VARNELL! Pam's bright, fun, style and attention to detail is sure to WOW you like it wowed us...we can't wait to get started! On that note, here is Pam's take on our sketch this week, LPSC35"

LPS challenge....

We have another color challenge for you today. I didn't get sample made up this week since my room is upside down! We are preparing for the creative stitches show in Edmonton coming up on the 2nd and 3rd of October. It will be at the Mayfield Inn if anyone is interested in stopping by. I will post more details later on the forum as well.

Release day and DT challenge!

Jessica hosted this months "Dt Challenge" and it is a fun one! We are to make anything except a card and it must be tricky or treaty??? I think that's what she said. LOL!! I decided to dress up a dollar store jar with some stamps. Now that I am staring at it on the computer I'm wishing there was ribbon or a tag or something paper on it.... Oh well!!! Here it is!

We have some previews and a challenge today! Tuesday is another release at LPS. We have some digis being previewed today using our monthly Dt challenge of "Spotlighting". It was a blast too. I can't say if I have ever acctually tried it so this was an awesome challenge for me! Thanks Bonnie! You can hop around to the rest of the DT and see what other digi's are coming in!

Our challenge this week at the LPS blog is to use "Your favorite color combo" Mine is normally a go to pink, blue, and brown.... lately I've been throwing in Kraft.

This weeks sketch was designed by the wonderful Cindy Haffner. I had a blast with this one. So super easy to follow that I didn't even cheat..... 2 weeks in a row guys!! No flipping, mirroring or staraying from the rules. I usually change my own sketches. LOL!

It`s release day!! The 2 sets we`ve been previewing are now available on the website! Angelic Jena and Beary Best Katie. This week only these 2 new releases are on sale 10% off!

It also happend to be time for our DT challenge! Julie was our host this month and challenged us to make a card using Kraft, Pink and Green and she threw in a twist... you had to use a punch..... I used the word window punch and border punch from SU. I followed all the directions.... everyone!
